Finally, Google Chrome will soon launch audio indicators to show noisy(audio playing) tabs

PROBLEM: When you are browsing in the internet, you might be opening more than half a dozen of tabs & suddenly some ads in some tab will start playing some audio or video. The most annoying thing is that we have to manually goto every tab & see in which tab, the audio is playing. This problem is there for nearly a decade. ūüė¶

SOLUTION BY GOOGLE: Finally, Google Chrome takes step to overcome this problem.¬†Google is working on a feature that would add a notification to tabs that currently play sounds. This haven’t been implemented so far.

More News:

Right now, this feature is only available in the latest Chromium builds, but it should be making its way to the dev channel as soon as Chrome 27 debuts.

This only works on YouTube if you’ve joined the HTML5 video trial, so it’s possible it doesn’t work with Flash audio, or at least it doesn’t work for now, which would defeat the purpose for the most part.
